Scrubbing Dishcloth

Measures approximately
8-1/2" Diameter


The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contact me if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Red Heart - 4ply WW Yarn
Hook Size G (for yarn)
Hook Size P (for netting)
Netting 1"x15'
I used one a mesh bag that oranges came in.
I cut it in a continuous one inch strip.

Cut a Continuous Strip Cut off the main bottom. Cut down the bag to make one flat piece. Cut one inch from the edge down to about one inch from the other end. Then turn the bag around and cut one inch over again down to about one inch from the other end. Continue until you have one long continuous piece.


Stitches: ch, dc, sl st.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM


R1: With netting, using P Hook, ch4, 11dc in 4th ch from hook. Join with sl st in top of beg ch4.
Fasten off and weave ends. -RS-

R2: With RS facing using the G hook, join yarn with sl st in any dc.
Ch3, 2dc in same st. Work 3dc in ea rem dc. (36dc)
Join with sl st in top of beg ch3.

R3: Ch3, do not turn. (dc, ch2, dc) in next dc (center dc of 3dc group).
Dc in next dc. *Dc in next dc. (dc, ch2, dc) in next dc. Dc in next dc.
Rep from * around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch3.

R4: Ch3. Dc in ea dc. (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in ea ch2 sp around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch3.

R5: Rep R4.

Fasten Off.
