MATERIALS:
Bernat Baby Coordinates Yarn
Hook Size H
12" length of 1/4" ribbon
Stitches: ch, sc, sc puff, sl st.
SINGLE CROCHET PUFF STITCH Yo, pull up loop 4 times, 9 loops on hook, yo, pull thru 8 loops, yo, pull thru 2 loops, push puff to front of work, work next st.
Difficulty: MEDIUM
--Make 2--
R1: Chain 25, Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in ea rem ch. Ch1, turn.
R2: Sc in first sc. Sc puff in next sc. (Sc in next st, sc puff in next st) across. Ch 1, turn.
R3: Sc in ea st. Ch 1, turn.
R4-7: Rep Rs 2 & 3 twice.
R8: Sl st in next 7 sts. (Sc puff in next st, sc in next st) 5 times. Sc puff in next st. Ch 1, turn.
R9: Sc in ea st. Ch 1, turn.
R10: Sc puff in 1st st. (Sc in next st, sc puff in next st) across to last st. Sc in last st. Ch 1, turn.
R11: Rep R 9.
R12: Rep R10.
R13: Rep R9.
Fasten Off.
FINISHING: Fold the piece with row ends together and puff stitches facing each other.
Sew corresponding sts tog. Fasten Off. Add a ribbon tie on the front of each bootie.
