MATERIALS:
Red Heart
4 ply WW Yarn (white)
Hook Size G
3/4" Button
Sewing Needle & Thread
Stitches: ch, sl st,
sc, sc2tog.
Difficulty: EASY
R1: Make a slip knot leaving a 6"-8" yarn tail. Put the loop on your hook. Loop the yarn tail to form a ring. 8sc in the ring. Pull the tail to tighten the center of the round. Do not join. Place Marker. (8sc)
R2: 2sc in ea sc. (16sc)
Do not join. Place Marker.
R3:Sc in ea sc. (16sc)
Do not join. Place Marker.
Repeat R3 until piece is the length of your drum sticks.
FLAP
R1:
Sl st in next st. Ch1, turn. Sc in 8 sts.
R2: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st.
R3: Ch1, turn. Sc2tog. Sc across to last 2sts. Sc2tog.
R4: Rep R2.
R5: Rep R3.
R6: Sc2tog, twice.
BUTTON LOOP
Ch5, turn. Sl st in
next st.
Fasten off.
FINISHING:
Fold flap down and sew a 3/4" button in the position where your loop is.
