Difficulty: MEDIUM/DIFFICULT

One dish towel will make two hanging towels.

R1: Cut the dish towel in half and fold the cut edge over twice to hide the rough edge.
You can stitch this hem on a sewing machine if you don't want to bother with it throughout this row
or you can simply hold it in place as you work your foundation row. Using the #7 Steel Hook,
push the hook through the towel just below the fold and work a sc near the edge.
Keep the edge folded as you work evenly spacing a total of 57 sc across the towel edge.
Using the G Hook, ch 1, turn.

R2: Sc in ea sc. Ch 3, turn.

R3: 2dc in same sp. (ch1, sk 3 sc, 3dc in next sc) across. Ch 3, turn. (15-3dc groups)

R4: Beg 3dc cl over next 2 sts. Ch 3. 3dc cl over ea 3dc group. Ch 3, turn.

R5: 2dc in same sp. (ch1, 3dc in next cl) across. Ch 3, turn.
