MATERIALS:

APPROXIMATELY 8 YDS YARN
HOOK SIZE: H
GAUGE: SQUARE IS APPROXIMATELY 3"

Ch 4, join with sl st in 1st ch to make circle.

Rnd 1: ch 3 (counts as 1st dc) 15 dc in circle, join with sl st in 3rd ch of ch 3. (16 dc)

Rnd 2: ch 3, 2 dc in same sp as joining (corner made), dc in next 3 dc, *3 dc in next dc, dc in next 3 dc*, rep from * to * 2x more, join in 3rd ch of ch 3, sl st in 2nd dc of corner.

Rnd 3: ch 1, 3 sc in same sp, sc in next 5 dc, 3 sc in next dc, sc in next 5 dc*, rep from * to * 2x join in 1st sc, finish off.

I try to make these squares as I finish other projects as it takes a lot of them to make an afghan. I hope to have an afghan of many colors soon.
